Silvershotz My work is being featured in the Silvershotz Folios 2009. 35 artists were chosen from hundreds of submissions. Copies of the folios are out in all good bookstores from December 2009. 2009 International Photo Awards I am pleased to announce I was awarded two gold medals at the prestigious International Photo Awards in the Non professional Nature Category. I was awarded winner for the landscape category as overall winner in the nature section. In conjunction with winning a range of other awards, IPA awarded his photos 1st place in Nature Landscapes in non-professional category two years running (2008, 2009) and in 2009 he was also named non-professional Nature Photographer of the Year. James’ style has developed from colourful panoramic landscapes to more abstract work that portrays the sense of the moment the image was captured. This work allows the viewer to immerse themselves in the abstract forms to provide a calming and reflective space for them to enjoy the scene. James is currently lives in Perth Western Australia.
