James Knight-Smith’s images and techniques are gathering momentum with increasing attention from international awards.

In conjunction with winning a range of other awards, IPA awarded his photos 1st place in Nature Landscapes in non-professional category two years running (2008, 2009) and in 2009 he was also named non-professional Nature Photographer of the Year.

James’ style has developed from colourful panoramic landscapes to more abstract work that portrays the sense of the moment the image was captured. This work allows the viewer to immerse themselves in the abstract forms to provide a calming and reflective space for them to enjoy the scene.

James is currently lives in Perth Western Australia.
